If you like music from 311 or Smile Empty Soul, then the red lites are the ones you want to defintely listen to.

Lead Electric guitar player Marcus "Law Dawg" Lawing lead sings with backup electric band member Jamma James, while Tim "Star Fox" Hanko and John "Yeagermiester" take care of the Bass Guitar and Drumming.

The Band came up with the name one night while hanging out in a dorm room a couple years ago where they all attend at East Carolina University. Before the guys went out to a party or to a band show, they would replace the regular light bulbs with red light bulbs to aquire their true party chill mode. So, James and Marcus came up with "The Red Lites". And every since then, that's what the guys have been going by.

BACKGROUND AND INFO OF THE BAND MEMBERS:

Marcus "Law Dawg"
Born in Concord, North Carolina on Thanksgiving Day in 1982. Hobbys include any type of sporting event. Started playing guitar at the age of 7. Criminal Justice major and a Political Science minor. Favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Standford Cardinals Basketball.

Tim "Star Fox"
Born in Silver Spring, Maryland in February of 1983 and enjoys trips to the Bahamas. Plays the bass guitar and also drums for The Red Lites. Started drumming and playing guitar around the age of 5 years old. Maryland Terripans and the Washington Redskins are the best teams. Criminal Justice and Finance double major.

"Jamma" James aka "J-Chron"
Born in Cleveland Ohio, and enjoys getting drunk off some Barcardi 151 and watching Chepelle Show & Adult Swim. Also a Business & Accounting major. Been playing guitar and singing since the age of 9.

John "Yeagermiester"
Born in Fortworth, Texas in September of 1982 and is a big Kentucky Basketball fan. Also takes care of the background vocals, bass, and drumming. Enjoys the beach life and is studying Artchitecture Technology and Business as a double major.
