My Life

My life

My name is Yolanda and I was born and raised in New York. I am 17 years old. My birthday is on November 5! I attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice and I plan to major in Forensic Psychology.

My family

My immediate family consists of three very important people in my life: My father- Lenny My mother-Angela and My brother-Lance For the first few years of my life, I lived with my grandmother AnaCaona in Manhattan. She is my life- I love her with all my heart!

Love I knew love existed but I thought it forgot all about me. Love proved me wrong because right now, I am with a guy who treats me like a princess- Jose Miguel. For those of you out there who haven't found that special someone even if its not forever- you should know that everything happens at its right time- and everything in life happens for a reason.

Friends I for one, I am a person who can say that I don't have many "friends". To me friends are not people you say "hi" and "bye" to-friends are with you throught thick and thin. I thank God for having my best friend Nadia in my life. I have learned a lot from her. We've been best friends since Junior High School and I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in the world.

Music My favorite type of music is Salsa. It's my #1 love. If I were to pick one favorite salsa artist-it would be MARC ANTHONY. He has much talent and I can listen to his music and never get bored. I also like: La India, Jerry Rivera, Victor Manuelle, Eddie Santiago, Frankie Ruiz. . . and many more.
