How to do an Olie
1.Firstly,when you are doing ollie, put your foot about 3 centimeters in front of the back truck.
2.Then you hit down on the kicktail really hard.
3.When the board is almost pointing straight up, slide your front foot up the center of the board until it is just over the front truck.
4.Then, on a scale of 1 to 10, push down the pressure of 1 and a half(very lightly)and that should bring the board to a horizontal position.
Note: To get more air in your ollies kick down harder on the kicktail and let the board come up closer to vertical. Also, when you pull your foot up, try and drag the board with it so you can get the tail about 20 centimeters above the ground before you bring it to the horizontal position.
How to do a Kickfilp
1.Firstly, complete step 1 of "How to do an Ollie".
2.When you are sliding your foot up the board, this time pull your foot off on the curve, right where the board meets the front kicktail so it will spin underneath you.
3.Once the board has done one full spin, “grab it” with your feet to stop it from spinning.
4.Land with your back foot on the kicktail and your front foot just behind the front truck.
Note: When you are doing a kickflip, do not start to turn forwards but stay facing the way you were facing originally because if you start getting into a habit of turning forwards it is hard to get out of it. Also, when you pull your foot of the board, pull it towards you. If you slide it away from you, you will do a heelflip.
How to do a Heelfilp
1.To do a heelflip complete all the steps of “How to do a Kickflip” except in step 2, slide your foot away from you so the board spins in the opposite direction.
Note: Step 3 and 4 are the same.
