12/25/2000- A*R*L is finished!!!!! (check link for info) 11/28/2000- Over Thanksgiving A.R.L. gave a steller live performance at the Goertzen Ranch!!! The recording of their new song "Robert LIps" will be available on VHS and some bootleged C.D.'s. This performance rocked with the help of Oklahoman Sean Dobkins on guitar and Yorkster Darin Smith on bass. Trevor was back on drums, with Brian and Eric topping it off on vocals. Brent Burch and Jared Bady helped with the filming and special effects. Lindsay Foulk was also present for added motivation. The Amazing Ring-Tailed Lemurs entered into the punk rock sceen in early 1998. These 3 guys from Nebraska started off messing around in numerous basements, and before you know it they were playing for wild crowds at parties and at skate competitions. The band consists of headman Eric Boggs on guitar and vocals, Brian Kopy on bass guitar and vocals, and Trevor Goertzen on drums. ARL released their first albumn the summer of '00. It included popular songs "German Girl" and "Limpy Chimp", and also had a live performance of "All the small things". The life of ARL has not always been glamorous. Goertzen threatend leaving the band numorous times for personal reasons. (more time w/April) In the times Goertzen was gone many people stepped in and filled his place. Among those names are: Brent Burch (excellent song writer), Adam Goertzen (chops fame), Darin Smith (of IV Horseman), and Ben Kuhl (noted skateboarder). Another problem which came about was Boggs heading to college 2 states away. However, the original boys are expected to reunite for a possible single this Christmas.
